Summary of Duties
To perform all aspects of the radiation planning and treatment processes as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist and in compliance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.
Qualifications/Skills
Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy training program
CMRTO registration required – MRT(T)
Minimum of three (3) months recent Hospital experience required
Current CPR certificate required
Excellent demonstrated technical, communication and organizational skills required
Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work with compassion in sensitive situations required
Ability to work effectively independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, as well as a member of the interprofessional team

CBMD certification through the OAR would be an asset.
Required skills:
Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures independently, in a fasted paced environment.
Preference to candidates with experience in nuclear cardiology imaging requiring exercise or chemical stress testing, resting ventricular function studies, as well as Bone Mineral Density studies.
Ensures all quality control procedures are performed as required, including maintaining proper records.
Preparing reports as required, maintaining all records for compliance with CNSC regulations.

Status: Full Time or Part Time.
Wage: $30 - $40 per hour depending on experience. There is a $250 Retention Bonus for successfully working 90 days
