Lyme Disease and Clinical Practice

The OAMRS Lyme Disease and Clinical Practice course is meant to increase awareness of Lyme disease as one of many vector-borne illnesses.

Learners will be introduced to the causes, signs, symptoms, risk of infection and treatment of patients who are infected with this debilitating illness. This program offers tips and tricks to help the learner recognize patients with Lyme disease and how they can best be served.

Learning Hours: The course takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. OAMRS courses are designed for self-paced learning. Rough estimates of the time required to complete the course may be provided, but we encourage each learner to invest their own time, based on their own learning needs, for each subject matter.

Accreditation: Certificate of Completion

Completion Requirement: The exam for this course is composed of 10 questions. In order to successfully pass the exam, you are required to attain a mark of 70%. Three attempts are allowed.

This course is designed for the MRT who wishes to increase their awareness of Lyme disease and learn how to recognize and best serve patients with this illness.
