The Screen for Life Coach is a mobile cancer screening bus that provides breast, cervical and colon cancer screening services to more than 75 locations across Northwestern Ontario. Michelle's presentation will consist of what the program is all about, what a client can expect from a visit to the coach, how a client gets their results, and future changes to the program.
Michelle Opaski is currently a Mammographer with Screen for Life Coach and the Linda Buchan Centre at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Michelle has been in the Healthcare field for 18 years. She has a diploma in Medical Radiological Technology from SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) and has achieved her Computed Tomography certification and is currently finishing her Breast Imaging certification. She has her DZ truck license because she is also one of the drivers of the Screen for Life coach! Michelle is married with 4 wonderful kids and she has a true passion for women’s health and educating others. In her spare time you can find her skiing, hiking or cold plunging in Lake Superior.
